We are hiring for a hybrid Security & Cashier role for the 2026 summer fireworks season. This position is a good fit for someone with a strong command presence who can help maintain a safe, orderly, and professional environment while also handling customer transactions and front-counter support.
We are hiring for a hybrid Security & Cashier role for the 2026 summer fireworks season. This position is a good fit for someone with a strong command presence who can help maintain a safe, orderly, and professional environment while also handling customer transactions and front-counter support.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the property, helping deter theft and disruptive behavior.
- Managing customer flow.
- Handling cash and card payments accurately.
- Assisting customers at checkout, and supporting daily stand operations.
- The right candidate is dependable, alert, respectful, and able to project calm authority without being confrontational.
This will be a fast-paced seasonal environment, and we expect record turnout tied to the 250th anniversary celebration. We are looking for people who are excited to help customers celebrate and create a positive, energetic experience during one of the busiest fireworks seasons we expect to see.
Each employee who commits early and stays the course with us to the end will also receive a fireworks bundle as a bonus.
Evening, weekend, and peak holiday availability are important. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. For the main Texas summer selling season, fireworks sales run June 24, 2026 through July 5, 2026, so applicants should keep those dates in mind before applying. You will be working during a national holiday period.
