2026 Fireworks Season - Security
We are hiring Security team members for the peak 2026 summer fireworks season.
This position is a good fit for someone with a strong command presence who can help maintain a safe, orderly, and professional environment during one of the busiest fireworks weekends of the year.
Schedule:
- July 3, 2026 through July 5, 2026
- 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the property and helping deter theft, disruption, and unsafe behavior.
- Managing customer flow and helping keep lines, parking areas, and walkways orderly.
- Maintaining a visible security presence throughout the stand area.
- Watching for suspicious activity, trespassing, intoxicated behavior, conflicts, or safety concerns.
- Supporting the stand team by helping create a calm, safe, and professional environment for customers and employees.
- Communicating issues quickly to management.
- The right candidate is dependable, alert, respectful, and able to project calm authority without being confrontational.
This will be a fast-paced seasonal environment, and we expect record turnout tied to the 250th anniversary celebration. We are looking for people who are steady under pressure, take safety seriously, and can help customers celebrate in a positive, energetic, and orderly environment.
Each employee who commits early and stays the course with us to the end will also receive a fireworks bundle as a bonus.
Evening, weekend, and peak holiday availability are required. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants should understand this job takes place during a national holiday period, and reliability during the full July 3rd through July 5th schedule is very important.
